The 2017 Spring Conference of European Data Protection Authorities is hosted by the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus. It will be organised on 27 and 28 April at the Mediterranean Hotel, in Limassol.
The Spring Conference is held once a year to bring Data Protection Authorities together for addressing issues of common interest relating to the rights to privacy and data protection. The adoption of common positions and the exchange of best practices enable Data Protection Authorities to better fulfill their mandate and to strengthen international cooperation. Participants are accredited data protection authorities and observers.
The Conference is organised under the auspices of the Cyprus Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (22 November 2016 - 19 May 2017).
